I know, I know, I haven’t posted on here in forever. I’ve been busy with some side projects lately, one of them being the human being who’s attached to my boob the majority of the day. Plus, life has gotten a little monotonous (in a good way), so unless you want me to detail every episode of the three seasons of Psych that I’ve recently watched, I’ve got nothin’.
(By the way, that’s a very good PG show I would recommend to everyone. Most of the shows I watch tend to be more R-rated in nature and about uplifting subjects like meth dealers and serial killers, but Psych is a good ol’ light comedy. The further you go into the seasons, the better and wittier the writing gets too. Me gusta mucho.)

I took these photos yesterday of my chunky little baby. Seriously, I can’t believe how much she’s grown and changed and fattened up. No fair that babies get to fatten up and just look cuter. The blanket in the background was made by my friend Aubrey’s mom, and I love it! It turned out really cute with her outfit too, which is why I picked it out for this particular little shoot.
I am on a photo printing craze today. I can’t stop! It’s a good thing though because I never print my personal photos so they’re all lost and forgotten in virtual files all over the place. I’ve decided to try to be better about printing and either framing them or putting them in an album so they get to be enjoyed more.

Justin’s parents are getting into town Thursday, which I’m really excited for. This Sunday we’re blessing our baby at church, which is a religious tradition, and she’s going to be wearing the same dress that my sister and I were both blessed in (plus some extra accessories my mom got for her). Good thing my mom takes care of her. She also got her a baby calendar so I can put stickers all over the place for her firsts. I always loved looking at the one my mom kept for me so I’m glad she got one for my daughter too since I’m clearly not on the ball.

Everything else is just going along great. We’ve had a lot of visitors from friends lately and have gotten out of the house a lot more (so far without any catastrophes or intense crying fits from either of us), so I’m starting to feel a lot less cabin fever than I did initially. I’m sure just feeling like I know my baby and kind of know what I’m doing now helps too. This week I’m going to be attempting to start bottle feeding, so we’ll see how all that goes.

Anyway, that pretty much sums up my update: baby, baby, TV, baby, visitors, baby. I know that’s boring, but I suppose that’s what happens for a while when you have a baby. Your life changes and looks boring to everyone else, but I would hardly say I’m bored with my life. I’m loving being a mommy.

dang i have such a cute niece!
As always, great pictures! Looking forward to seeing you guys Sunday! She’s got her great-grandpa Russells dimpled chin (prominently displayed by Ross and Tom, also).
@Eric: You can’t be too quick to claim that from our side! Justin’s side has a lot of dimpled chins.
Just wait until summer. Nothing is cuter than a fat baby in only a onesie. I love their little chunky thighs. My daughter has gained some fatter thighs than she had last summer, and I can’t wait until summer. I hoping she isn’t too old for just a onesie.
of course…adorable pictures of the baby, but i need to see turk! just to make sure you still have the boy. :-) how does he like the baby? have you ventured out with baby and pup yet for a walk?
i’d skip “up in the air” if i were you. i wanted to slit my wrists after i saw it…way less depressing than “boy in the striped pajama’s”, but still…i really wasn’t a fan of the movie.
