…and finally back to pre-pregnancy weight after holding onto those last 3 pounds for the last 5 weeks. I’m not sure why her hand looks so blue there. It doesn’t in real life. Also not sure why she thinks it’s cool to flip you all off, but there you have it.
You may recognize her dress from this post when she was only being anticipated. It was also my inspiration for my color scheme when I was designing this here site design. Needless to say, I love it. She’s worn it to church the last two weeks in the hopes that she could show it off. Unfortunately the church building has been butt-cold freezing and she had to be wrapped in a blanket the whole time. On top of that, the poor kid had to drink a cold bottle since they had no hot water running in the joint, and the building was so cold that it couldn’t even warm up to a decent room temperature.
So what I’m trying to say is… church was torture for both of us this week. I kid, I kid. I actually loved going back to Relief Society (women’s meeting group) after working in Primary (with the kids) for so long. It’s about time I get some spiritual boost from going to church. Or as one of my favorite previous students said to me on Sunday when I told her I wouldn’t be teaching her anymore: “Now you are going to be teached by someone??” Aww, I miss them already.
Things at home are going good. I’m convinced this baby has raised the bar too high for all future kids. She has spoiled me completely by sleeping through the night for 2 weeks now, with the only exception being last night. Not much else to report other than that we love her to death.
Also, I’m excited to get back to work which is happening next week, so if you want to schedule a session or know someone who might want to, send them my way. Austin, Dallas, and everywhere in between. The more work the better!
And to end things, here’s my baby girl smiling. This will be the most boring video on earth unless you’re me or maybe blood related to this kid, but I’m posting it anyway. I love the cute baby noises she makes now. Please forgive the baby talk on my part, but I am, after all, talking to a baby. And as always, Turk makes sure he’s not forgotten at the end.
If your browser’s being dumb but you still want to see this riveting video, it’s right here.

apparently there is something really bad in this here video cause work wont let me view it. I’ll just have to look from home.
Two beautiful girls!!!
The video’s great! Love to see little kids smile and gurgle!
I loved the video! Post more video’s. She is just adorable. I love all those baby sounds they make when they are tiny. Oh to have those sounds back. Now we have screaming and fighting sounds at our house. Thanks for posting! You look great!
