Me: [talking sweet to Turk] See? He likes sugar better than vinegar. How does that saying go?

Justin: You attract more bees with honey than you do with vinegar. Except that you don’t. You attract more bees with pollen.

Me: Right. Cuz bees make honey.

Justin: What would you attract with honey? Bears?

Me: But why would you want to attract bears?

Justin: Hmmm.

Um, ya . . . “You draw more flies with sugar, than vinegar . . .” I must have been an obnoxious child . . .

You want to attract bears if you are at the bear dump . . . but next time you’ll bring Uncle Roman’s car.

Aw, beat to the punch about the saying being flies, not bees…
@Shannon: Maybe it’s a frog saying.

Don’ t you attract the flies so that you can swat them?

And I would attract bears for their delicious guminess. If I need honey to attract them then that so be it…definitely a fair trade off.
