I could see how someone would have to have a certain sense of humor to love that show and you have to like Larry David. Otherwise it would just be annoying. I think you and I are like this guy I knew in Columbus. We had absolute opposite taste the majority of the time. He would give me movies he didn't like cuz he knew I'd love them, and if he said he liked a movie I wouldn't waste my time on it. So much is said in the Prestige vs Illusionist debate. I don't know about an edited Dexter. Cutting out the murder scenes and the language, I'm pretty sure the show would be about 15 min long. Haha. I tend to be a purist though, all or nothing. Having said that, I DO believe in self-editing -- it's called, watching through my fingers. It worked when I was 5 and it still does today. I figure like some shows it probably just took a while to get the rhythym to where its funny. I did however just finish modern family and I absolutely loved it from the pilot on down. A little cheezy at times, but had so many times where I was just rolling. Sadly, I think modern family is the only show I really watched out of all of these so I'm not really one to comment. He is the only person who could get me to watch a show about total disgustingness. You know he got his start on QVC and singing opera. I think I need to watch more t.v. Although I agree that if you are an old lady with an English accent, it's not fair that you automatically be nominated for absolutely everything you're in. Mike Rowe, how can you not love him!!
